Attention Hotmail, Yahoo, AOL, AT&T and other non-Gmail users!
Email providers like Hotmail, Yahoo, AOL, AT&T, and others frequently reject discussion listserv posts as spam. They incorrectly assume that an email from one of their users – which originates from our server, and not their own – is spam. Here's a few things you can do to make sure you get all our emails:
- Use a Gmail account for participating in any discussion listservs.
- Add "marinedebris [at] list.openchannels.org" (or our domain, "list.openchannels.org") to your approved sender's list and/or spam-filter whitelist.
- If you use a custom email provider with built-in anti-spam services (frequently run by Mimecast and AT&T-affiliates), you'll need to contact your email provider to add "marinedebris [at] list.openchannels.org" (or our domain, "list.openchannels.org") to their approved sender's list and/or spam-filter whitelist.
If you have subscribed to this list, but have not received a confirmation email within 5 minutes, our messages are most likely being rejected by your email provider.
